Chicago Auto Show 2012 The nation's largest auto show, the Chicago Auto Show spans approximately 1 million sq. ft. (92,903 Sq. M.) of the McCormick Place complex. Exhibitions included: multiple world and North American introductions; a complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars and trucks; sport utility vehicles; and experimental and concept cars. Concept cars on display in 2012 included the new Cadillac CL, the Lexus LFLC, Volvo Concept You, Chevrolet Tru 140S and the world debut of a new Kia Track'ster. Lexus made a 'super' impression on Chicagoans at this year's 2012 Chicago Auto Show. For the first time, at any auto show, Lexus displayed four of its renowned LFA super cars. Packing 552 horsepower in a V10 engine, the LFA is considered one of the world's greatest performance vehicles. History buffs enjoyed viewing General Patton's World War II staff car and a pictorial display of the show's 111-year history. The show proided experience of four indoor test tracks and five outdoor test drives. From the Super Bowl commercial to the Auto Show floor, the Volkswagen Fuel-Efficient Beetle TDI was one of the favorites at this year's Chicago Auto show. Toyota and Hasbro are teamed up to bring the Toyota Hybrid MONOPOLY Ride Experience to the Chicago Auto Show. The program allowed auto show attendees to experience the capabilities and advantages of the third-generation Prius, all-new Prius v, Camry Hybrid and Highlander Hybrid models. Eighteen area charities shared in more than $2 million raised by the 2012 Chicago Auto Show's benevolent event, First Look for Charity, and two attendees left with the keys to new Cadillacs.
