THE FIFTH ANNUAL CHICAGO SIDEWALK SALE AT THE DALEY PLAZA The largest FREE two-day shopping market returned to Chicago this summer.The Chicago Sidewalk Sale features head-to-toe looks from local fashion talent with designs varying in price from $5 to $500 The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture presented the fifth annual Chicago Sidewalk Sale at Daley Plaza. The two-day shopping event was the perfect place to peruse an assortment of affordable apparel and accessories and see first-hand how local designers and independent boutiques are thriving in Chicago. With close to 40 participants showcasing hats and handbags to shirts and shoes to ties and tees; the Chicago Sidewalk Sale offered head-to-toe Chicago looks for anyone and everyone. In addition to the shopping, a summer-inspired runway show took place at noon on both days featuring the latest styles from the participating fashion talent. |
