The designers of the Chicago Fashion Incubator (CFI) presented by Macy's was the first headlining show that took place on Tuesday, October 18 as a fundraiser for CFI which supports new and emerging Chicago designers. Chicagoans had the oppertunity to preview collections from the "names-you-need-to-know" at CFI including the 2011 designers-in-residence: Concetta Cipriano, Shavonne Dorsey, Eric Kipp, Kahindo Mateene, Taneasha Prunty and Crystal B. Simms; along with alumni including Miriam Cecilia Carlson, Leah Fagan, Christina Fan, Catherine Furio, Anna Hovet, Stephanie Kuhr, Agga B. Raya, Jonnie Rettele, Cynthia Ryba, Donaldo Smith and Lidia Wachowska. |
