The annual COUTURE & COCKTAILS was co-chaired this year by Kristina McGrath and Rebecca Besser and held at The Hudson. This glamorous fall event featured internationally known fashion designer David Meister and a dramatic full-runway fashion show co-presented by Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue. The evening began with interviews on the red carpet by Kelli Zink from CelebTV.com and exclusive VIP party where guests mixed and mingled with fashion designer himself. Special guest included sports stars Bears' Charles Tillman, Anthony Adams, J'Marcus Webb and Robbie Gould. The main event started at 7:00 p.m., where guests enjoyed delectable cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a fabulous silent auction followed by a riveting live auction highlighting items like a PGA Masters Tournament getaway for four people and a Los Angeles experience with The Joffrey Ballet and David Meister. After the runway fashion show, guests danced the night away with the Joffrey Company dancers and DJ Ashok. The event launched The Joffrey Ballet's 2011-12 season. |
