The Apparel Industry Board, Inc. (AIBI) and The Shops at North Bridge are
proud to announce the "MADE IN CHICAGO presented by AIBI" retail store
opening on Wednesday, November 16th at 44 East Grand Avenue (directly
across the street from Nordstrom). Featuring 21 of Chicago's brightest
designers, the "MADE IN CHICAGO presented by AIBI" store will be open
through December 31st and will feature all the best that our entrepreneurs
have to offer.

From eveningwear and millinery, and from accessories to home and gift
items, the holiday shopper will be able to discover one-of-a-kind gift items for
those special people on their lists and unique additions for their own closets.
Designers will be hosting trunk shows throughout the period, and a special
"Shopping for Charity" program will allow shoppers to select one of 10
charities to allocate 10% of their purchase to benefit. Participating charities
include Service Club of Chicago, Clara's House, Women In Film, Bare
Necessities, The 100 Club, Fashion Group International and more.

A delegate agency of the City of Chicago, under the Department of Housing
and Economic Development, AIBI is charged with creating greater visibility
for the Chicago entrepreneurial design community. This program will be a
first for AIBI, and will allow designers to highlight their merchandise in a
prime retail environment during the peak Michigan Avenue selling season.
