Vertigo Sky Lounge's Ice Bar launch with fashion presentation by AKIRA

Winter in the Windy City has officially arrived. While other local venues yearn
for the return of warmer months, Vertigo Sky Lounge transformed the season
with the re-launch of its Fire and Ice winter patio. To commemorate its return,
the Dana Hotel and Spa's penthouse lounge has partnered with AKIRA for an
exclusive fashion presentation the likes of which the city has never seen.

Fire and Ice converts the 1,000-square-foot patio into a fully customized ice
bar with a signature menu of sizzling fire shots. Kick off the night with the
Flaming Dr. Pepper shot or savor a mixture of amaretto and 151 dropped into
a pint of Guinness. Patrons feeling especially bold can also sample Vertigo's
Flaming Irishmen and Jägerbombs. Avoid the cliché bottle-service routine by
making a reservation inside the lounge's custom igloo-there's no better way
to get warm in the winter! Raise the heat with the patio's signature maroon
robes and fur blankets. The igloo's crystallized fire pit adds that
all-too-necessary touch of warmth when temperatures reach an arctic low.

The winter patio's launch culminated with a premier fashion presentation by
the iconic Chicago retailer AKIRA. AKIRA's Ice Bar fashion presentation
featured FORD models outfitted in of-the-moment technicolor furs, gilded
cocktail dresses, & moon boots. The local retailer offered guests a sneak
preview of spring's princess chic styles, surreal floral prints, & sporty nylons.
